As our abbreviated name (GWRM) implies, most of our models are inspired by the Great Western Railway of south-west
Britain. Although we are based in Cambridge, our members are drawn from all parts of the Waikato including Hamilton, Huntly, Matamata, Te Aroha, Tirau, Waihi Gorge, and we even have some ‘country members’ from as far away as Taranaki.

OPENING TIMES

The Domain is open and the Children's Playground next to the Clubrooms is finally open, albeit two months later than first predicted.

The Grand Opening was brilliant and the Big Trains had their first run since February and what a day it was.

We are back to normal opening hours now and enjoying the flow of excited kids and their parents again.
